What is a Homebuyers Report?
This type of report will be required if you select a property through Open Market Homebuy. It is a report which provides more detail on the structural condition of the property than a valuation for mortgage purposes but less detail than a full structural survey. You may, of course, decide for your own peace of mind to arrange a full structural survey but this is not necessary for the purposes of your Open Market Homebuy application. Your mortgage lender will be able to give you further advice on the cost of these reports.
